Vintage white McCoy Art Deco ceramic planter with scalloped rim, circa 1930s–1940s, Roseville, Ohio. McCoy planters are among the most actively collected of all American art pottery, combining attractive design with practical form. The scalloped rim and Art Deco influenced form are hallmarks of McCoy's production from this period. White-glazed examples in good condition are particularly desirable.
